I didn't bid this back in.  I told the caller it was mine and when it didn't go where it needed to be he asked what I had to have.  That was the end ;D  I know what you mean about bidding on your own stuff.  It happens at a lot of sales around here.
It was worth it.  A learning experience for sure.  We'd have done better at the local sale.  Things went considerably higher up here than they were selling for in Mt Pleasant.  Buyer's sale there, seller's sale up here.  I love auctions 8) 8)  Too bad the hanging tractor pic didn't turn out.  First time I ever saw an AC G swinging in the breeze.

Is the AC G the little one with the engine in the back?

Jeff

Yep, usually you dont see them for sale, but the auction had two of them. One had a baja bore job and was a real fogger but it ran nice. The other we didnt hear run.

What happened you guys get a little to far south? The old AC dealer in ST. Johns Mi has one hanging from their sign.  ;D

By the end?  :D

I've missed that one in Saint John. I get down there quite a bit too. I'll have to pay better attention next time.  This one today they were loading on a flatbed truck with only about a 10 foot bed.  The big clark fork truck picked it up by the end and way up in the air to put it on that truck. Front wheeels hung over the back and almost drug the ground after it was loaded. didnt look real safe to me. Loading or hauling.  Actually The picture turned out I took, problem was I was using my phone camera and it was bright out and I was actually pointing at the ground in front of the action.

The take from the BVHS Auction.  A Farmall F-20 Narrow Tread on rear round spokes and a basket case 8n Ford.  Dad probably paid more for the Farmall than was necessary but he saved it from the scrap guy.  It's setup tight, the manifold is rotted off but it is pretty much all there except for one brake lever.  It even has the correct Narrow Tread flat belt pulley 8)   The Ford was a pretty good deal though.  It was fairly complete minus the manifolds and carb but was disassembled from the bell housing forward.  We were only interested in the bell housing back and as we were loading up a fella came by and after a bit of bargaining gave us 150 bucks for the engine. 8) 8) 8)  One more thing we don't have to store somewhere ;)

Corley,  The consignment auctions are starting up around here.  The one in North Branch is the 17th of Feb and the one in Berville is in March.  There are several more around here also.  If you are interested in any down this way give me a holler and I will see what I can do on the auction bills.  I do not think the North Branch one is online but the Berville one is.  It is run by the Berville Lions Club.
