Cherry burl for pen blanks?

I sliced up a small cherry burl today into 7/8" thick pieces about 6" wide just to see what it looked like. I expected them to have a lot of bark inclusions but was suprised how nice they look. Before I throw them in the wood boiler I thought i'd ask if they could be used for pen blanks. If so, and anyone wants them, they are welcome to them. Send me a pm.
