Howdy All,

I am interested in placing a grade and/or company name stamp on some of my lumber.  Are these stamps available for hand application?  Are they even available for purchase?  Any other ideas would be helpful. Stencils are too awkward (unless I am doing it wrong).

Maybe one of our sponsors could create this product ?

Thanks

Google "rubber stamps custom made" and you'll find dozens of places that will make you a stamp, with whatever you want on it.

It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others

Thanks Beenthere,

I wonder if others have some examples or functional success stories.

I do not expect a lumber mill to be a comfortable environment for a rubber stamp.

I was also watching the discussion about bar coding single boards.  I think the higher value stuff deserves this type of treatment.

This is my rubber stamp that I use to mark lumber that needs marking.   You can find companys in LUMBERMANS that will make tags with barcodes and your info on them.  Just depends on why you need to mark them.
