The up/down crank handle is hitting the engine in/out handle when the engine is dis-engaged.  I can't find anything in the manual that addresses this. I have tried adjusting the turn buckle and changed the hole location to no avail.  I'm thinking of welding an adjustable stop on, but you'd think that WM would have alrady done that if it was necessary.  What am I missing.  There is no adjustment of the handle to crank angle as they are roll pinned on and the belt length is not an issue because this only happens when the belt is dis-engaged.  I'm stumped. ???

Sparks is the MAN.  One phone call and all is well.  It was so simple that I should have seen it...but I didn't .  Thanks Sparks!  8)

Yeah, I second Jeff.  What was the solution ???  I have not had that problem, but I want to learn from other's experiences.

Solution: The adjuster is a bolt on the brake lever.  As the brakes wear the adjusting screw is turned out to take up this wear.  My Duh.

No actual progress on the house yet.  We have finished clearing land and planting pine trees and are now sawing the last of the lumber to finish the exterior of the house.
