I cut about 1500 feet of walnut and 600feet of spalted maple last  tues. , wed, thurs.  I only have 1/3 of it stickerd the rest is dead staked.  Its been 25 at night and 40 during the day here in upstate ny. How long before the wood starts having problems. I cant sticker till the end of the week  . The walnut is 6/4 x 20"x 10' and maple is 8/4 x24"x8'  thanks

Between the low temperatures and the two woods you have, you'll be fine.
Walnut is not prone to staining even if it was left dead stacked awhile. In fact, I know one walnut buyer who considers it a poor man's way to disperse color similar to steaming. I don't know about that one.  ???
The spalted maple may just keep spalting if it sits long enough! :D
