Do any of you guys know of a site with infomation on wood framed lane mills, different models,specs. I can't find anything.How can you tell the different models,is it possible by arbor diameter??Thanks Frank C.

Craig,thanks I had read it but forgot.Do you know if Jason got the mill [one of them] set up.If you look at the whole project your knees get weak and mind goes numb.What you have to do is one little task a day say clean up and paint one headblock.Pretty soon everything is ready to assemble.Most of the real sawyers mixed and matched parts they liked best from different manuf. as jeff said their all very close.Band and swing mills have all but made small handset circle mills extinct.Have a good new year.Frank C.

Lane was sold to Meadows Co. in 2004.  Meadows has since sold Lane to Bornemann & Greene of Morrisville, VT in 2006.  According to Meadows website,  "owners of Lane equipment should contact Bornemann & Greene, 33 Foundry Street, Morrisville, VT 05661, 802-888-3311 or fax 802-888-3320 for your parts, service, or equipment needs."
