Who's going to Bangor?

I know that it's a long way north, but I suspect there will be some folks from this group up there.  I suggest that we write our screen names on those nifty free badges they sent for admission....  I'll be hanging around the Peterson booth, which is right across from Woodmizer.

Wish I was going as there seems to be alot of good exhibitors there. Wish we had big shows like that around here. :(

Buck; check out that website, www.nefpexpo.com.  It's the Northeast Forestry Equipment Expo.  It alternates between Massachusetts and Bangor.  All the companies are there (well, most of them), and they do the Sawmill and Woodlot Magazine Portable Sawmill Shootout.  I'd have to say the shootout is not as fun as asking questions of all the manufacturers, and seeing all that shiny equipment in one place.

Hey vermonter is this show as big or bigger than the one in Boonville N.Y? When is this show?

 I don't know about the Boonville show but the Northeastern Forestry Equipment Expo in Bangor is pretty darn big thats for sure..It's May 16-17 if you did not already sign up I think it's like $5 entry fee..Hope to see some of you there I'll be there both days.

I'm not sure if the Boonville show is bigger, the Springfield show last year was pretty impressive.  I think I'm going to that NY show, when is it?

Im headed north on the 15, early AM with the wife... going to our camp just south of Moosehead Lake... and then slidding over to Bangor on Friday morning... first time off since October.What an excuse for a vacation; 8) oops i mean  BUISNESS TRIP, need the write off....  The Bangor show is better than Springfield, more real people in Maine than Massachusetts and I live in Mass!!  I can sneak in a little fishin on Thursday and Sunday ;D
Moose,Loons, Peepers, Maine what more can you ask for...... Oh yeh a bunch of sawdust eating folks to shoot the BS with what a life.
As they say in Maine the way life should be !!

I`ve never been  to Bangor, but the show last year in Springfield was bigger than Boonville. I`m going to Bangor on friday, see you there.

I was looking forward to going to Maine.My wife was going to visit her sister in Agusta( not spelled right). On the  way up  we were going to stay in Bath. Her neice has a bed and breakfast there. But I looked at the calender and we have to process chickens on the 16th. So I guess I have to wait another year.
Does anyone know what the show is like ih Harrisburg Pa. June 13 & 14.
