I was talking to Dave at WM Manilla last week and he said that if you have blades that have been heavily damaged by hitting metal, you might want to use the old style sharpener.  The damaged blade will greatly reduce the life expectancy of the CBN wheel.  Just something to think about!

I just bought the new shop style CBN sharpener.  I already have someone buying my old sharpener for $1,000.00 so I only have $1,600.00 in an entirely new sharpener instead of getting the retro fit kit.  Made a lot of sence to me. ;)
