Has anyone here ran the PS 7300/7900 saws  ? Whats the scoop?

They`re both good saws but since they`re built on the same platform and there isn`t that much difference in price I opted for a 7900.

I would get the 7900, not much difference in price to carry around the same weight IMO. Unless you are getting a great deal on the 73cc and saving $200. Because thats what a 79cc topend kit will cost you if you ever want to go bigger.

I had a woods ported 7900 and have ran stock and muffler modded ones. You can not go wrong with the power and price of the 7900. They will flat eat the stock saws of similar size offered by stihl and husky.
If leaving stock or muffler modding and you have a good dealer that can get you parts get the 7900.
