I thought earmarks were those notches you put in your livestock's ears to tell them apart from each other and your neighbor's. Neighbor's livestock, that is. Guess I'm undereducated.

Back when I was young and a rebel, I had a 'earmark' (an earring, that is).  :)

I got an "eye" mark today.  Walked into the sharp corner of a DanG piece of steel roofing on my DanG brother-in-laws DanG blind that he should have done something a bout when he built the DanG thing. luckily it was just above my eyebrow and not my eye as it didnt stop till it hit my skull.  Looks much better now that the blood stopped. :)

Came home to see one of our cats jumping off the barn roof..for no apparent reason  ::). Somehow survived unhurt, and landed on his feet, of course. Too bad they don't all try that..we have too many cats.
