HI ALL (AGAIN)

I keep reading & haven't posted in a while seems the post is turning a bit form it's original starting about VP from Alaska.   it starting to go toward religion (which we all know is more personal feelings than facts and then Political Views which is more myth rumor and half truths :D)

anyhow I still like the fact that we have someone who is truly out for change by her past performance (last 2 yrs as gov up there)  Granted that means there is less experience but also MORE excitement and commitment to the people she has taken responsibility to protect and serve.   I think that we can take care in the fact that MR McCain has always been there to serve USA people and has tried to do what is right for them (US citizens) more often and than what was right for himself.   I feel that the same could be said of Mrs Palin as VP she would get a great deal of exposure to what has been going on and what needs to be changed prior to McCains departure if and when he does leave even if Mr Obama wins she will still have gotten a great deal of exposure and will some day soon be playing a much needed front runner role in US politics.   While that may mean that she could be our first lady president some years from now?  (I sure hope it would be her over Hilliray, My personal preference as I can't see that she has held up many of her pre-election rhetoric to NY state?)

I remember all those statements back when Mr. Clinton was running for 1st term. (I Won't raise taxes on poor or middle class) it was one of the highest tax rate hikes since Jimmy Carter.   this sounds very much like what Mr. Obama has been saying to me.   While I find myself leaning towards voting for McCain for more than one reason one of the big thank gods was fact that he picked a running mate that was similar to himself in Mrs Palin.  I Do think that she will help him get more votes as well as get more done in DC.   I don't think that anyone can argue that she has done a great deal to help the ave person in Alaska and I hope she will do the same for the rest of the USA...

also as a side note I do believe that we need to have our economy stabilized ASAP if anyone has been following stock markets and world economy there is a great deal of matters happening that does not bode well for even the lowest person on the totem pole...   I think a lot of the problem there is fact that we do have to have a NEW President and VP any of which will be a big change up not only here but around the world.   If you look at trends things are not getting better by themselves...   Do I think that whom ever takes lead will come out looking good?  I doubt it but I do believe that if something is not done soon it may be too late to avoid a much longer and heavily sustained down turn...

I watched the news about 15 minutes here a dinner break and got two more examples of Palin mania.

One lady commentator said that Palin was "political Viagra".

The other was that they showed some new Palin action figure dolls coming out compete with the Palin "do-up" hair style and glasses.

What will they think of next?  :)

P.S.  I just found an article about the action figure dolls.  Just in case you wanted to know more....

Can ya imagine what would have happened if a male commentator made that "Viagra" remark? :o :o :D :D :D

Not sure if you guys saw this last week, what with the hurricanes, economy stuff, and all that going on.  It shows that ABC News cut out key parts of the Palin-Gibson interview.

The parts cut out are interesting and really give the interview much more depth.  I think it is revealing about how the media continues to be biased, but this script also reveals even more about who Sarah Palin really is.  At least, that is what I got out of reading it.  :)

I don't like to see an interveiw which contains only a portion of the response to a question.  When this happens quite often the listener gets a distorted veiw of what is being said and forms the wrong conclusion.  It appeared that he was looking down on Sarah with his precieved veiw of liberal superiority.
