Hey there Doug.  Thank God you are alive and your injuries are minor compared to what could have happened.  Those pictures are scary!  I've prayed for your quick and full recovery.  Let us know how it goes.  I'd be interested in seeing some pics of the trailer, once you get it back.

Jeff

I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

Has anybody heard from Doug since he posted this?

DouginUtah

Jeff,

It was the deputy sheriff. He stopped in at the hospital and said he had taken a lot of pictures. I gave him my email address and he sent them to me. I had to do some serious cropping and reducing.

Yesterday I found my trailer. It is totalled. Wish I could find my Rust-Reaper. I'd like to salvage the spindles and hitch.

There is a Part II to my bad luck week coming as soon as I'm up to it.

(P.S. - After 4 1/2 days things started to move. The details of how I was able to are too disgusting to write about.)

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)

Crikey Doug,

I'm SURE pleased to hear you're OK!!!

That mountain looked to be a disaster waiting to happen. Have they never heard of GRAVITY?!

Please keep us updated on how you're going...

Very Lucky to survive such an avalanche. Thank God there wasn't more volume in the slide. Be careful!

I'm doing okay considering the shape I'm in...  :D

Give me another week or so to give you some more details.

Glad to see you are still kickin'!  Take your time and heal up good.  I am still praying for you.

Doug, thank God that you are OK - this could really have been much worse.

I've never had cracked ribs, but my understanding of the healing process is similar to what the hospital told you.

Good luck, and Godspeed on a fast and complete recovery.
