I totaly agree with what warren says. But let them start the war it's cheaper for you in the end. If you have to go to court and you win they will have to pay your legal fees plus a settelment....CHEYENNE

   8)     the county here operates a santization site ie dump it is stafed by detention staff ie prisinors they say theyare allys short of help the local procution attorney and judge do everything barely inside the law to see that the dump is kept staffed if you even gave one of co officals a dirty look let alone emply that he might get hurt you would end up with a shovel in your hand in reading court news in local paper about some of the trivial chgs people face i wonder if the above is not true :) :) 8) 8)

Man, I thought that this kind of bureaucratic crap only happened in Canada!  Governments aren't bright enough to figure it out; if they force all the small businesses to close - or force them underground - there'll be less coin rolling into municipal and State coffers.  Their actions look as though they want that result..

They hire more useless bureaucrats and have to dream up intrusive regulatory nonsense to justify the idle hands.  In Canada, its all being done under the guise of 'the environment'.  Every day loggers and farmers throw in the towel because they've encountered some regulatory 'last straw'.  At a time when the economies in our respective Nations are not exactly booming, our governments are adding to the misery.

Some quick, general advice from somone who fights this crap on a daily basis:

(a)  Do NOT make that phone call to ask if you can do something....just do it.    Planners and by-law officers are bound to black and white type...there are no grey areas.  If you call and ask you will either be told, No (makes their job easy) or Yes, but...$$$$$

(b)  Don't roll over and play dead.  If you get stupidity, respond to it quickly and loudly.  These people don't like their actions exposed to the bright light of day.  They sail along because virtually all of the population accepts their stupidity and rolls over an plays dead.

(c)  Help your neighbour.  If they're in a bit of a bind with government nonsense, stand by them...don't hide in the grass and pretend that's it's not happening to you.  Your neighbour is standing in the same shoes as you: the little guy's.
Robin Hood had it just about right:  as long as a man has family, friends, deer and beer...he needs very little government!

I am 6'2" and seem to still get under radar, but it is getting lower and closer .... especially here in California. Maybe this recession will get rid of some of the rule makers . Larry G
