Looking to hear from anyone who has run the MS441 and how they compare to the MS440's and MS460's. Any Pros and Cons to either? I am looking to replace an older MS440 that still runs good but am looking to upgrade. Thanks. Tonto.

i just got the 460 saw and i have run the 440s and the 441s and the 460 has lots more power and just the same way so in my opinion why you buy the 440 or the 441 if the 460 has more power and the same weight but lets see what everyone else says huh thanks

I have all three.  The 441 and 460 are fairly close in overall power.  The 441 is faster and the anti vibe setup is good.  I do not have to fill the 441 up as often as the 460.
Both are good saws.  The 441 is a bit more modern.

I bought a 441 last winter against the advice of my dealer it seems they have had troubles with intakes manifold ???? tearing . Icut about 40 k board ft of logs and it started to idle fast . Took it back to him and got an " I told you so "I was able to get my $$$$ back . I bought a 7900 Dolmar and couldn't be happier. I will agree the 441 is a fuel efficient smooth running saw but wouldn't buy another until sure that Stihl has corrected the problem. I was told this was due to the cold temp here in WI.
