Saw this episode on TV the other day. It's a local show thats targeted at High School students and shows whats involved in various jobs.

Skip forward to Chapter 2 (unless you want to learn about Surveying as well)

It does give a good overview of how forestry is managed in NZ, from planting, pruning and harvesting with a cable system / skidders.
