Hello everyone new to this site just found it a couple weeks ago. I went by this old logger I know locally and his family was having a yard sale seen the saws and had to stop. I bought the 920 he had and had no compression for 25.00. Tore the thing down and it has scored piston and cylinder. Does any body know what husqee saw might be the same part numbers or is this saw not worth fixing? Thanks Chris.

Hi! Welcome!

I am sorry to have to tell you, but that as far as I know, the Jonsereds 920 was produced only as a Jonsereds.
But how bad is it? And why did it do it?

The 920 is kinda like the 70E, the 620, the 80E and so forth.  They are true Jonsereds saws... good saws too.

Try askin' this cat from the link I'm postin' here.  http://chainsawr.com/node/15

He sold me lots of parts for my 70E when I had it.

Thanks guys for the replys!! I think by lookin it was ring failure/ lean HEAT caused the abnormal wear in the cylinder.

Look under Jonsered on E Bay.  There have been  of 920 parts for sale.
They are great saws.  I have one that I have used for years.
