Keeeeripes People it was cold here today.
Horses are puttin' on hair and the chickens cooped up at 6 oclock. Ma had me batten down the hatches on the barn tonight. I don't think it broke 45 all day. More through the weekend; they say its supposed to get down in the 30's at night. I've been cuttin' and splittin' wood for the cook stove on the weekends but I ain't quite ready for this.  :o No sirreeee!!!
Anybody else gettin' froze out already. ???

Man, it was beautiful here today, perfect sawing weather.  Only a slight drizzle and a balmy 47 degrees.  Worked is just my shirt and blue jeans for most of it.  Hardly sweated at all.  ;D

We have rain so I had to put my t-shirt on ;D Had a few cold nights but not bad. Getting very dark early now and I don't like that as I color blind. Them cats eyes in the middle of the road are hard to see.

It's been getting chilly here in the evenings and early mornings, but it has been warming up to the 70's and 80's during the daytime.

I actually got a couple more blankets out the other night and slept in my fleece robe.

It won't be too long before we have to fire up the furnace.

Hate to rub it in, but except for todays hurricane driven rain September has been DanG near perfect here in NH.  Only cold morning was back in the first week and that was only a problem because all the windows were still open. :D

We had a pretty good frost here in ND last night too. I haven't figgered out the boiler in da turdy room house so we don't have any heat, just a big feather comforter. I suppose I'm going to have to figure that thing out before long. My wood boiler don't get here for better than a month and I don't think we can wait that long.
