No   No   No.  There was a big article in Sunday's newspaper regarding this.  It didn't work

Think about it.  Hair is already oily and has no absorption qualities.

The business about hair being oil absorbant is silly. I get oil in my hair all the time and it is less absorbant than paper, cotton, wood chips, polyester fleece or wool. The only way most of those textiles have a benefit is because of surface area of the fiber and the cling factor of oil. When  packed in those little booms, even steel shavings would "absorb" oil.  :D

They're still gung hoe and carrying on with it. It was just on the radio today here and they seem to be determined. ;)

You could issue treated bathing suits to surfers, but what do you do with the oil bucket (marshes).  :)

That scatter-straw-everywhere idea, the other day, sounded like a good one to me.

Dang had a suggestion that might work.  You put a vessel out there loaded with 50 gallon drums and issue the drums to anyone who wants to collect the oil.  Then BP buys the filled drum at $87per each.

There would be a long line of fishermen selling oil to the tanker ship.  The drums would be emptied and given back to the collector for another trip.   I would even take some of that action.

As my moniker indicates, I don't think I could be very helpful in this effort. :D

Me neither Bob. I wonder if they shave body hair? Being up here in the north ya know, you need a good layer of fur.

Grrrr, grizzly bear growl.  :D :D
