So the bottom line is nothing is skewed, embellished or altered in any way. It's just that these different power units have differing characteristics that have to be taken into account.
Okay then that's one way to look at but from your quote of the article as I have copied above it does say double the HP rating on gas or diesel in comparrison  to electric .I mean it's your quote after all . ;)
