Case runs berco parts for what they sell and you can save a lot on the same parts by buying berco direct from an aftermarket parts place, google  on the internet heavy equipment aftermarket parts in your area, there are several places advertised in rock and dirt magazine and if you can't find any just google rock and dirt and browse thier ads and make some calls.    Theres nothing special about undercarriage parts if your not using it every day to make a living with, theres even chinese parts avaiilable and I've used them and had good luck, they are all made to manufacturer specifations anyhow.   Around me its heavy equipment parts which used to be grace track and got bought out and theres a few other places in illinois around chicage that ships parts and I've bought from them in the past as well but right off the top of my head I can't put a name on them.    Price them from case and go look elsewhere, now I did buy a cutting edge from case and they were cheaper on that then even the aftermarket places so do some shopping by the phone first and buy who's got the cheaper deal, just make sure if you replace the bottom rollers you get the right bolts ment for them and don't skimp and put in soft bolts instead, I bought a dozer and never gave it a thought until it came time to replace the bottom rollers and then I found out someone used soft bolts and I twisted ever one off and had to drill them out and use heat to easy out the bolt studs out, worst job I ever had to do to the dozer ever, buy hardened bolts and pay the dollar per bolt extra for them, if you replace the rollers always put in new bolts and throw the old ones away, its worth it if you have to ever do them the second time to have newer bolts at least thats what we do anyhow.   You can even shop on ebay if you'd like there were several places there that had parts and I've bought several idler rollers over the years from those guys on ebay as well.   Shop around it pays to find the best deal.   Whats all needed on the 455 for undercarriage parts?

timberjackrob, sorry I've been busy and haven't had time to look at the replies, make sure you check the front idler good when you have the rest apart and make sure the bearing is good and doesn't wobble any and check it to make sure it has oil in it and it rolls nicely with nothing on it, they usually need to be replaced at the time of a track job unless someone has had to do it recently and its new already, if not maybe put in new bearings and seals before throwing it back together, that for some reason along with the track adjuster seems to cause the most problems on the case machines, those too are available from aftermarket sources.  Use a caliper and compare the sprocket with a new one to see how much wear there is on it already and uless its basically brand new I put on new drive sprockets as well,, they are pretty cheap and keep the old ones for spares later on after the chain is worn some, seems used sprockets eat up new rails really quick and its better to replace them as a set, or at least that seems to be the cheapest in the long run.
