Sawdust Blower RPM

I picked up a cast iron sawdust blower yesterday. My question is what RPM should it run at? Joe said on his belsaw his was turning about 1700. Is this close for all blowers? I will be able to go through a shelf of pullys today just trying to find out what size I should get. With the arbor turning 540 and the blower having a 4 inch pulley what do i need? some where around 12"

A 12" will get you 1620 and a 14" will get you 1890.
