Fastest way to put up hay is loose. You can put it up a tad bit green and it cures in the stack. Best feed I've ever seen. Still green when you feed it. Put a little loose salt on between loads and you can put it up even greener and the critters will trample each other trying to eat it.

Harold, we switch everything over to ATF in the winter and use tank heaters in the hydro tanks. It's da only way to go when it gets below zero.
