Love the smell of sawdust

Magicman

I can't tell if you have them, but you probably will need some wipers to prevent sawdust buildup between the rails and rollers. It looks like I see some buildup in the 10th picture.

hi Magicman---the sawdust you see is on the bottom side of the 3/8 x 3" angle iron I used for a guide bar--the rails are actually under the chains, but I plan to change that setup as I think the chains will wear the rails--the wheels have teflon wipers in front of each

hi Chris
I've had that old patty since 1977---my wife prefers it to the brand new  624 JD we had--2 engines and 1 tranny in 34 years--it doesn't owe us, tht's for sure
