Can't wait. Having cabin fever and can not wait to begin bundling firewood again. Most campgrounds open here in Indiana in the middle of April, so a couple more weeks and the Beaver will be busy bundling and shipping firewood for yet another season. Plus I could stand to shed some pounds that some how accumulated around the mid section over the winter.

we have about 2 months here before camping season.   i have nothing ready for the contract yet of around 200 campsites, but i do have about 7 truckloads of pine cut and piled ready to split.

Indiana DNR regulations require me to ensure that all wood shipped into state parks is below 20% moisture content. To be compliant, I must harvest and split about 9 months to a year in advance to give the new wood time to adequately dry. As a result, I have about 100 cords split and stacked at a buddy's farm that needs to be trucked in and wrapped and then replenished during the course of the year.

yea, i still have to do the certification stuff yet, and get the aproved vendor application done.
lots and lots of hastle but all it takes is one to "create" a problem.

im only planning on selling pine/ cedar this year,  because it drys very fast!

i havent done the tests or read the material yet, but im only assuming that we dont have moisture content restrictions, due to a lot of people telling me , the oak bundles they have been buying were green as a gourd!
