Omaha Ag Expo Feb 29 to March 1

We were invited by Woodmized to bring a few logs down to the show next week and hang out 8). The show goes 9:00AM to 4:00 PM and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM :( I guess the show isnt gered toward people with regular jobs. :'(

So is WM bringing a saw or are you bringing yours? I'll have to come up and see things, maybe WM will bring my logrite they forgot to bring to the Kansas City WW show :D.

My brother talked to them on the phone. I guess they are bringing one, but they were not sure which model yet.

Are they going to be doing a demo, if so, what time and what day. why dont you see if they will do a blade sharpen and set demo. I could really use that.

I will try and find out when, but yes, they said they were doing a couple demo's. That was what they wanted us to bring logs for. Unfortunatly for me, I work between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, so i dont know if i will even be able to go.

The event schedule is listed on the Century Link Center web site. I think my brother is going to bring the logs down on Tuesday evening. Maybe i will tag along then.

I was really hoping to get there on the 1st, but my boss at the salebarn had a bad accident loading cattle this morning so now it looks like I'll be loading cattle next Thursday instead. Be careful out there folks. If I should be able to make it I'll take your number Tim and give you a call to see if you're around, sounds like a great idea.

I had a response from the woodmizer guy. He said they would try to do a demo at 10 12 & 2 both days.

Unfortunatly, i have a paying job that i need to be at between 8:00 and 5:00 >:(. My brother did drop off some logs though.

went wednesday, wind was blowing 50mph, they made two passes and went inside. It was brutal. Anyway, Sandhills, I am going to be working in Kearney for 6 weeks, starting april 2, like to see your setup. Tim

Well unfortunately the setup isn't "setup" yet, a couple of neighbors and I went together and bought an old Belsaw circle mill a few years ago and we (me) REALLY need to get it up and running. I sure wouldn't mind meeting you though, I'm actually about as close to Valley as I am to Kearney, I have relatives in Omaha and pass by a few times a year at least. We farm Northwest of Albion. What will you be doing in Kearney?
