ha ha , here on the west coast its only 10:15 , the little one is sleeping , hauled a load of logs today,  this is the only chance i get for learning time , i'll be in bed as soon as I finish this glass of pear wine, then think about which I want more - a tk2000 or a lucas 1030,

I'm with ya.....it's hard work but enjoyable and did I mention addictive?  Really, I have only posted a few times on the site but I lurk virtually everyday.  The knowledge here is outstanding and most are more than willing to lend some advice.  Thanks to all the millers out there!

Saw and stack enough lumber during the day and you will not have any late nights on the computer.

When I first joined the Forestry Forum, I was on and off of here a half a dozen times daily.

I was really learning at near ground level and picking up lots of tips of the trade.

Now I'm still on here a half a dozen times a day, only now I'm able to help others out as well as learn things myself.

I love this Forum.

There is nothing out there like this place. I love it. Even with the amount of wood I have cut I still learn new things. There is nothing better than getting to share a trick or two that I learned from Tom or some of the other past members.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

whoo hoo, an 075  congrats ! how big a bar are you gonna run ?  If its anything like the 088 with the 60" bar  I ran you will be having some fun !

My early days depend on what I am doing ,  if I am hitting the bush looking for logs, it might be 4:00 am start time in the summer,  if i am milling at home, its way more fun hanging with my little guy early and firing up the mill a 8.

After working 15 years on the night shift, I still have it in my blood :(. My body just doesn't want to rest at night. Good thing most of my projects are taking place in the shop right now. I usually try to grab a couple hours sleep here and there and call it good ;D.
