Consider getting a bigger Brine tank than standard.  I upsized to a round tank(about 60 gal) that will hold 320-350 lbs of softener salt.  Then you have to fill it a lot less often.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!
