These are the best gloves i ever found for running chainsaw. They give you a secure grip on the saw with the rubber like nubbins. [ .47 a pair ]



 
Third generation logger, owner operator, 30 yrs felling experience with pole skidder. I got my neck broke back in 89, left me a quad. The wife kept the job going up to 96.

I liked the coated string knit gloves because there so cool. The leather gloves  were ether hard or slimy from hands sweating. This is running saw 6 to 8 straight hours a day.

This style of split cowhide glove is a nice fitting glove when running skidder and running saw, i like the tight wrist band, keeps wood chips out. $1.82 a pair
