Never seen anyone post this and I did a search... what I need to build before winter hits.  I bet it does not work good with knots.

Has been posted before, and looks like a good, cheap, simple way to hand process wood. What I split with a hydraulic splitter wouldn't happen with this rig, IMO.

Would have to be real easy splitting wood that isn't bucked very long. But beats swinging a splitting maul and re-setting blocks to split again.

I looked for it and I agree.  This would split my cedar,hemlock and alder but not my maple. I have been looking for another hydraulic cylinder for my wood splitter or just re seal the one I have.  Will check on craigs.

for a easy splitting wood, this would be nice...
