When about will it arrive? Where in New England are you? put it in your profile. We won't bite. Is this for your own use or going to work it for a living? Good luck with it!!!

Trying to set up the trucking now to have her transported up. Hoping to have her by Christmas! We are in Western MA... I am posting from a phone and can't seem to make changes to my profile... So much for "smart" phones! Or maybe it's just the operator! Using it to make a living.... I had an older TreeFarmer for about 15 years and decided it was time for a change. She was getting pretty old!

If you don't have the trucking locked in yet, go to uship.com and put in the zip code for the origin and destination and you can get bids to move it for what will probably be a very reasonable cost. A buddy of mine is having a 1.5 ton truck shipped from Minnesota to Maine for $1,000.00. I have also used the service with very good results.

Welcome TimberLine! Missed your first post but that machine looks great. Ever thought about renting a trailer and going to get it yourself? Western Mass to Virginia is a 9 hours drive one way, so you could do it in a weekend. Just a thought...
There are no problems; only solutions we haven't found yet.

You might put out a auction on uship.com to see if you can get some good bid to haul that beast.   I have had great luck on uship especially if someone is needing something to haul back on a return trip and are empty

Sorry it's been a while all! We still haven't gotten her up here yet, but she is all safe and sound at my brother-in-law's sawmill in Powhatan, VA. After the Holiday we will start looking for transport through USHIP. I can't wait! It is the one with the wider rubber and Eaton axles, too! I bought her just outside of Powhatan, VA for $6500! Needs a little brake work and just a little winch work, but is in great shape  :D

Merry Christmas to you all :)

I had a 1,000lb box blade shipped from TX to MA, I know it's a whole lot different than shipping a skidder  ;D but check out www.freightcenter.com
I got quotes from Uship but they couldn't beat the $500 it cost me on freightcenter.  The only bad part was it took a long time to get, about 3 weeks.
Not sure what they would quote you for VA to MA but it's worth a look, the quote doesn't cost anything!

Call this guy . He is about 40 miles from me. He quoted a friend hauling a farm tractor from conn. to columbia falls, maine about $1600.     That was about $4.00/ mile
