Step van for solar kiln?

I have an old P30 step van and I'm planning to use it as a solar kiln.

I will be able to dry up to 24' lumber. The cargo area is 18' long and I can use the cockpit area for the longer lumber.

Basically I'm going to paint it flat black and use a solar power exhaust fan(no electricity nearby) to pull out the moist air.

Any suggestions?

My Son is drying some peecan in a 1951 International Harvester Metro Van, {bread truck} I think he leaves the doors open for airflow, dunno for sure.

I don't think you need the fan if you go faster than 60 MPH

Now that would finally be a good use for a chevy.  :D
