Thanks for sharing. 

I bought some veneer glue specifically designed for this approach about a year ago.  I think it was called "heat lock" or something.  I haven't gotten around to trying it yet but seems very interesting and helpful for curves. 

Think he mentioned in the video it's only a good idea for relatively small areas.  I've heard that you get too much expansion/contraction of the wood fibers of the veneer if you do it over a large workpiece.   Edge banding seems the ideal use for this technique.  If i ever try my glue out i'll have to let you guys let you know how it goes :)

only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Hide glue is good for veneer work. There are other kinds of glue suited for large pieces of veneer, but I can't think of the name right now.
