Today was the type of day that you see pictures of Maine on calendars. Just after a kinda heavy snow that was still on the trees with a bright blue sky and the sun shining bright. Looks like you have the most important piece of equipment all bundled up. On a day like today I bet it's nice and warm in there. Nice picture of an owl. I have only seen one on my land. I was showing the wife the boundary lines of my,ours now, land and one kept flying in front of us.

Snapped this picture today of the sawshed suffering from a bit of a hangover.

Weather guys said we got 11" last Thursday.  It was for sure a wet 8".  I've been pushing snow since Thursday evening.

It's 36 right now and heavy rain is moving in and expected to turn to snow. Predictions have varied all day from 2"-7" to as much as 12"-18".

Well, from the title I thought this topic was going to be about snow. Apparently not.

A week ago Monday, they started telling us that we were getting another weekend snow storm for this past Sunday. Maybe 8 to 12". On Tuesday they upped it to 10 to 16". On Wednesday the moved it down to 6 to 10". On Friday they said it was going to be 8 to 12", starting late Saturday night going all day Sunday.

What really happened was it rained, all night Saturday night, and into Sunday morning.
By Sunday night we had 2" on the ground.

Monday morning wasn't any more than that here.

I can't understand how someone can be so wrong in their job and still keep it.
TV weathermen they're never right.

They are saying tonight into tomorrow more rain in my area. Watch us get 8" of snow or more......

Jim, 2" of rain = 20" of snow. They just got the temperature wrong (and you only have to be off by a couple of degrees).
