I cut some hard wood last friday on the WM and made some 1"x1"x6'4" pieces about 2000+ :D
then use the Hud-Son

boy ill tell you that Hud-Son sharpener is one nice thing to use, I did a 1000 garden stake the other day

and a 1000+ today and the thing worked good
but I think Ill sharpen the blades on it tomorrow,
after 2000+ frozen hard wood stakes :D :D

I have just the thing to do that
the 5.5 Brigg+ Stratton started on the first pull
My two good helpers :D :D ;D

I was wondering the same thing about the Hud-Son. Go to their web site (link on left) click on specialty tools, then stake sharpener.

I have a question for you also Peter; What would you say the it took in seconds to do each one on the sharpener? I watched someone demoing one on a youtube video I found and it didn't look like he was trying to do it very fast. Knew after all those you've done you would know.
Thanks, Tee

the set up is the thing, I can saw the 6'or 4' logs in to 1"x1"   with the WM, set them in a pile when done I sharpen them, they can be sharpen as fast as I can pick them up , put 10 in the rack and wrap. It gos fast
1000 in 8 hrs + talk to 2 customers :D :D the thing to keep in mind is this is suppose to fun, see some guys sell side lumber to outher markets like flooring and the like, I sell stakes, for me it's the best way to get rid of the side lumber, or chip it :D :D :D

Peter, what keeps the 1x1" stake from turning when its poked into the cutter head.??I sell 1 1/2" square stakes and point them up on my table saw, think upside down pyramid, not as fast as yours but I don't sell that many. Frank C.
