Hi Kevin

What do you use those balsams for? It looks like pretty nice stuff. I had a bunch of them on my place in MN.

Do you usually work by yourself when you are out in the woods or do you have some help? Looks like all your snow is gone.

Although it was a beautiful day here in KC.  Perfect for breaking the 066 out again.  But, Mama says no.  She is still adapting to the 200 odd BF of oak and walnut in the garage.  Got to get it moved to the office so I can move in another couple of hundred feet.

Very jealous, but glad you got out.
So many trees, so little money, even less time.

Mark;
I usually work alone, it's almost too much fun for just one guy!  ;D
Most of the balsm dies and falls over before it gets to any size but this one was along side my trail and had to go so rather than waste it I milled it .
I don't recall ever milling balsm before but it looks like decent lumber, we'll see when it dries.
It was snowing on and off yesterday but it didn't amount to much.

Great pictures Kevin, your buddy's sitting there going "boss there's rabbit under that pile, you see em!"

Of course he could be eyeing your lunch. ;)

Kevin

Norm;
That's his favorite log in the pile and he ain't giving it up without a fight!  :D
