Well, I had 10 days where i couldn't get on the board to read- just too busy. It about took me 24 hours- with time off for extracurricular activities and other necessities- to catch up! Busy little beavers over here!

I've just been re-reading my forestry plan- sez I'm about due for some cutting- and I just found a neighbor who is cutting my in-laws trees. I've invited him over to the forum. Dunno if he'll show, but I'm hoping. I mentioned somewhere else he has a Woodmizer video I'm hoping to get hold of.

We are having just SO much fun with this latest layer of ice. It's been a lot more merciful than the pounding we took a few years ago. I only had one branch come down, and never lost power. I expect some of you have other tales to tell, judging by some of the news pix I've seen. :-[  lw

I've been pretty darned busy, too!

The winter weather that cancelled school on Thursday was a welcome respite. I slept nearly all day! Thankfully, we didn't suffer any of the ice damage or power outages in my town, but I guess many others weren't so lucky.

My latest project at school has to do with puppets. So far, the kids have made 3 different kinds - all with recycled stuff.

I love it when I don't have to buy things and can keep stuff out of the waste stream!

Rav, did you see the post directed at you by Kathy from Buskirk Lumber? She was offering wood for your class projects! It was in either for sale or wanted.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

Thanks, guys!

Yes, I did get Kathy's message. I should probably contact her again. I am just so busy with the projects I've got underway. I'm so bad about finishing things. I love to start them, though! ;)

I'll keep checking around.
