A friend of mine from Port Clyde is looking to get about 3 semi loads of white oak logs from Pa-Port Clyde, Maine. He asked me if I knew any truckers he cought get. He said he always used H O  Bouchard but they said they didn't do it anymore.  I was surprised at that, there website still shows they do. Anyone see there trucks hauling logs lately?

Rick, check with some of the log yards. I sent logs from west virginia to searsmont maine one spring! We loaded them on canadian lumber trucks! Also check with carriers in skowhegon. They haul everything!

Too bad logs can't be hauled on cattle trailers. It's a one-way trip, usually, cull dairy cattle out of Maine go to Pennsylvania, last I knew. There was no serious market in Maine to sell them to sell them in.

Have you considered sending them by rail?
