Quote# 1- 1937 Ford pu.

Duh Duane, my Dad had one of those, the only thing uglier that I ever saw was the '37 Ford sedan. Well maybe the Edsel. Too bad you didn't keep it instead of the vickie.  :D
I may have been born on a turnip truck, but I didn't just fall off.

first vehicle i drove was a 91 ford ranger, but if u spit on the grass, it wouldnt go anywhere.  Then the neighbor and i got into a wreck, and my parents said that i had to buy my own vehicle.  I went to the local auction and found a '53 Dodge 1.5 ton grain truck, and brought it home for $750- and it ran.  I still have it, and it ran up until i went off to college, now the fuel pump needs replaced.  Oh well, i have my eyes on a Cummins diesel to dump into it when i get home.

First car was a 1956 Chevy Belair Convertible. Bought it off a fellow soldier at Fort Bliss, Texas. Made lots of trips to Juarez, Mexico in it. Didn't think it would make the drive back to Pittsburgh. Sold it and bought a French car (a Simca) which the Siamese cat and I drove back. Car had 12" wheels and in 1968 that was an odd size for sure, blew a tire in Oklahoma and could only find a boat trailer tire, we made it though. Left Fri after revelee and got home Sunday morning. Long trip with just a cat to talk to.

I was in my 30's when I bought my very own car; a 1994 candy apple red camaro. It didn't go very fast, but I sure looked good in it!  ;D    Shortly there after I gave it to my son as his first car.  What are mom's for anyway!
