Some spalted oak through the planer

Heres some oak we sawed a while ago. It had been sitting a friend of mines for a while and after we cut it Jack put it in his shop, tonight we cut it and put it through the planer. We cut it to book match and are going to make a coffee table out of it, might have some simple tapered legs of oak from the same log. Threw a little mineral spirits on it...

Your planer did a nice job on that oak burl. I'm surprised it didn't chip out.
