ordered some 5/16" grade 100 chain from Tulsa Chain. No dealer seemed interested in getting some 100 grade chokers so I will make my own. They are strong and easy to carry. Maybe for the guys with the monster skidders they wouldn't be any good, but for my C4 and my buddies C5 they work great.

I've been using 9/32 for about 4 years now. They work great. I keep 3 on the skidder for firewood and soft wood.I've only broken them a few times.

Got my chain today from Tulsa...now waiting for the C-hooks from Labonville. They should be here shortly. Cut the chain to the lengths I want and put the C-hooks on and I should be good to go.
