Welcome to the Forum, the best site on the web. It looks like you have a pretty good handle on the log moving thing around your mill. Good work, and good luck.    Andy

I have a couple of tractors, but I got my logs in so quick when I first started I have logs in my way of doing most everything so I cannot really utilize the tractors as yet.  Now that I have everything in the way of everything I finally figured out how to organize everything....lol

I just need to get the rest of the logs in my way milled up and then set up the rest of my roadway.  I am set up to where I can drive up and over my log deck at the end of the building allowing me to drag logs up onto it.  I can also drive beside my mill inside the building so I can drag logs one at a time through that way.  Now I am going to remove a tree and some junk and build a road going past the end of my log deck so that the self loaders can pull up on it and park at the end of the log deck and load the loads straight into the log deck area.

I am good at figuring things out...... just not usually until I have made the solution near impossible with the use of previous ideas....

Welcome,
Sounds like you have quite a few milling projects and no shortage of good logs to work with. Sometimes it seems like it takes more to keep the log yard and lumber yard in working order then it does to keep the mill running do all the sawing.
Ran the old family circle mill up on the back side of Priest River, helped built the Savage family log home across from the old two room school house there.
Look forward to hearing about and seeing pictures of your progress and projects.
We are loaded up ready to take the mill down the road to mill up a Sequoia in the morning, keep the sawdust flying...

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking setup you have. How do you put set into the blades after you have sharpened them?

Welcome to Forum what part of north Idaho I have some good friends in Rathdrum  :new_year:

Sorry somehow I missed your post earlier, we are just north of Moscow, my wife has a lot of family up around Priest River and Sandpoint area, not far from Rathdrum.  We are about 2 hrs south from Rathdrum.
