Magnetic "Rule" Source

A friend was recently here and we sawed some logs on my mill. He has a kit built mill and was very covetous of my magnetic strip rule that is marked in quarters. It was on my LT 15 (used) when I bought it so couldn't tell him where to get one.
But I told him I would ask you all. Thanks in advance!

Yes WM sells them, they're fairly cheap (cost wise). 

I ordered a new one when mine got "misplaced", but then I found it again....so now I have a spare  ;D

You can actually make one without too much trouble.  I made one for our LT-28 for sawing dimensional lumber out of a magnetic strip and some white packing tape.  The way this is made is to make a cut on a log, drop down the distance you want your thickness plus your kerf, make a mark on the tape denoting both cuts.  Then, measure the distance between them and carefully mark spaces down the tape.  Example: Yesterday, we were cutting 3/4" siding.  By marking 7/8" on the magnetic strip, we could cut accurate siding without having to figure the kerf with each cut.
