> the old Fisher stove plant in Bow NH

You know, I saw an old Fisher stove in GA of all places. Wish I had $200 on me at the time, it could have been mine. It was the older type with two draft controls on the front that spun down. Talk about heavy old iron  :)

I have a Grandpa bear Fisher stove . They really built them ! it must have been a management problem that put em down . I think they had a plant out west too. ( Kansas ?)

I've found a few more things in the house, I've been cleaning it out. I found a sort of newsletter sent out by Forest-All that mentions a large firewood processor. I found one for sale on the internet. I never knew they made such a thing.

These were in the garage. I'm guessing they went on the side of a truck.

Dave;
I don't know if you read the rules but anything posted on the Forestry Forum becomes property of the Forestry Forum so just box that stuff up and send it to us.  ;D

Here is the firewood processor in what seems to be some sort of Forest-All newsletter, dated December '80.

And one for sale somewhere:

It was strange to find the one for sale one day, and then find the newsletter the next.

Hey, I drove past a firewood processor that looked very similar to that one.  Not sure if it was a Forest-All or not but looked pretty DanG close to that.  I didn't have my camera with or I would have pics of it.  Planning to go by that area in a couple of weeks and will check it out to see if it is still there or even if it's a Forest-All..... would be pretty cool if it was.  Where this thin was sitting it looked like it was there unused for quite some time..... might be able to get it for scrap prices or less cuz it's so darned far from a scrap yard.

I just got my Wood Bioenergy magazine today and inside is a nice article about Norval Morey.

Interesting read.

Anyone else read it?

I found another Forestall item cleaning in the garage today. I had never seen this one before.

My sister has made bumper stickers before. It probably wouldn't be too hard to make more.

coxy, there used to be a character over in Columbia County, NY, that had a bit of a problem like that. Central Tractor was threatening to get a tare weight on him if he didn't straighten out his act. :D

I bet there aren't too many of those stickers around anymore.
