I have a 10 yr old norwood sawmill that came to me in kit for and I assembled it and am still using it. Does anyone know of a retroft kit avaible to make it comparible with the norwood 2000 model? I have had problems with water getting into the tubing and norwood is of no help to sell me any replacement parts for the mill.

Thanks
Jim

Norwood can't help  ???
I bought a Silvacraft Mark III (a pre norwood, norwood) a few months back, and found out one of the guide posts had gotten water in and froze. The post was split and I couldn't raise the head. I called Norwood and they pulled the file and had the new post out to me in a few days. To prevent future problems a small hole at the bottom of the posts are in order.

What exactly do you want to do ??? I'm guessing your tubing problems are either the guide posts or the head framework, or both. How bad is it? The head frame will be ok if it's not real bad, but the guide posts would need to be replaced.

norwood requires you to register your mill. before they will give any assistance advice or sell you replacement parts. the reason they do this is because mills were stolen in the past and people would buy replacement parts for them. they provide this valuable service to us norwood owners to help track stolen mills down. have the previous owner to give you proof of purchase and provide this to norwood. then you will be able to get the parts and advice you seek.
