its a c5 tree farmer, had a leak in the front diff so tore it down to re seal it up and one of the planetary the brass pins were a little loose, found to part number on them, are they expensive/ worth replacing? Hate to wipe out the sun gear as im assuming its expensive or hard to find a replacement. I know its a rockwell axle but i was wondering what size it is. Are the brass pins something like  CJ logging would stock or is it something nash would have? Also looking for a replacement cover too.

Its that time of year spring cleaning and maint

Yep pr75 replace the brass pin. Most any skidder shop should be able to get you those. Aftermarket parts inc. makes them.

thanks for the help its very help full, the lift is nice although i wish it were bigger, 10k lb isnt quite enough although i lift my 3/4 ton diesel on it and my 1 ton service truck. Its nice for brakes, changing oil and iv used it for re-wiring utility trailers too. Skidder was bought in rough shape with no motor, after doing this axle i have literally replaced every seal in it and rebuilt everything on it. It had a good 4-5 years of use without seeing grease (previous owner). But everything has been re-done on it to this point and i'd trust to run it 5 days a week. Sheet metal isnt the prettiest but shes fully functional and gets the job done.

353 detroit, had one already in the shop on a fresh rebuild that i bought 5-6 years ago for a crushing plant we had, would had rather put a deutz or cummins in it but the price was right and thats what it already had in it.

would any of you guys happen to have the part number for the wheel seal, it was drippin and im this far i might as well change it, just ordering parts today and dont have it taken apart yet

Nothing wrong with a 353 as long as you don't mind being heard.  ;D

I had to do a little roading today with the 208, and my mother said she could hear me across the valley. I had my ear muffs and my plugs in for that trip. :D

Ouch. Can't weld it?

U can try these. Nash has a lot of parts machines around - used to anyway:

There might be a couple here in town.

just remember that when you take those covers off to mark them they will only go on one way or you will pull your hair out trying to get them back together turning them one hole at a time  ;D ;D
