Now that I messed up, how do I fix it?

I need advice on how to remove sticker stain from eastern white pine. Earlier this spring I cut several hundred board feet of 4/4 10" x8' boards. I thought I did it right by leaving it in the open with steel covering the stacks. However a big wind blew the cover off and the sun and rain left water marks where the stickers were.

The bad part is that the one stack had very little marking and I put it on my cabin. Now I have the rest on and I need to clean it or pressure wash it or sand blast it or something.

It is board and batten style siding (no battens yet) how should I clean the stuff without dripping bleach or something and streaking the logs below the board and batten siding?

don't use Clorox!  use oxalic acid (wood bleach). you should be able to get it at any paint store or larger hardware store that has a decent paint dep't.

Any tricks or tips on proper use and application?  I have Doug fir logs below that I don't want to get drips on. The fir is fine and I don't want bleach streaks on it. I do know to wet the wood from the bottom up and then wash but what else should I know?

A roll of plastic and some 100mph tape? Tape the plastic sheet along the lower section of the wall to keep the spray and drips off?
