For those of you that troll in weedy lakes try a trouble hook tied on 4  to 5 ft from your lure. Works really neat.

heck of an idea, who would've thought of this?  It sounds like a big blob going through the water?
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

My wife and I was really surprized as of how well it worked. We done real well on catching walleye.

The trouble we have (dock fishing, not trolling) is our lake washed out and sat dry for 3-4 years, in the meantime all sorts of cottonwood and willows popped up.  We've only been able to get there a few times this summer but to date my wife and I have lost 4 REALLY nice fish, no clue what they were other than big.  I swear those fish know how to use those trees better than my cattle do on round up day.  My wife will be there this weekend so I'm sending a setline or 2 and see if we can get them that way, we're running out of gear the way we've been going at it.

Most all fish will try to run for cover. My wife and I lose a few every year because of that. I guess that's why they call it fishing. I hate it when ya lose a big one and you didn't get to see it. On my face block there's a couple of big cats we caught this summer while trolling for walleye.
