What is the labor rate for chainsaw repair in your area ?

Caloren

Here in Central CA. our local Ace [Stihl & Husky dealer] charges $85 an hour.
Stihl MS 170, Stihl MS 310, Stihl 028 AV Super, and half a dozen other no-accounts! Cat D4 D.

ALWOL

I raised my rate from 45 to 60 an hour last year, mostly because of the increased taxes on small business.
There's a big difference between staying busy and making money.

We're at $70 most places are $65 to $80 per hour around the area.

around my neck of the woods there are a few guys that charge upwards of $100/hr but all they care about is the money. my small engine guy is a retired logger and he makes me buy the parts but only charges me $20 an hour. he just does it to keep him busy because he is disable now so it is more of a hobby/ little extra cash
