Posted a while back about being given a lather and a ton or so of reclaimed wood.

Been playing around with it, and made some simple paper towel holders.

So what's so special? That wood is straight off the lathe, with a 120 grit sanding. No finish, oil or anything, and it shines like that  :)

More crazy, it was originally a painted shelf in a Kindergarten. 50 years ago it was probably the cheapest wood the builder could source. Now, supply is VERY limited, and it's like gold.

And the nail hole proves it's recycled ;)
Weekend warrior, Peterson JP test pilot, Dolmar 7900 and Stihl MS310 saws and  the usual collection of power tools :)

Yea, that's amazing, closed cell wood at its finest, a little sealer and its' a done deal aye?
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,
