Great video!  You might consider getting yourself a Logrite "Mill Special."  It'd really help in turning those logs on your mill.

Nice video. Really enjoyed watching it. So, how long does it really take to mill/cut thru at the widest point of a log?

This log took quite a long time to saw, the chain was full of resin after the first cut. So I had to change the chain several times. So I'm guessing that the widest point of the log certainly took 7-8 minutes.
If you look at https://youtu.be/tjI8l9o9Nn0 you have a completely cut uncut.

if your getting bother with the resin sticking to everything Teed, polish the bar with a good quality floor wax, also the top beam of the mill, I've found it makes a big difference

Thanks, I shall try. Most often, it's not a huge problem except in this wood. And it is above all the chain-mess together. Some ideas how to do to not get it to stick to the chain?

I would try dripping diesel on the chain at the tip of the bar when it starts to gum up.  Is your bar oiler working?  I would think if you had enough oil on the chain it would prevent the sticking.

Well bar oil works as it should, but I was probably a bit stingy and bought a cheap chain oil last.

Teed

Enjoyed the video thanks for posting it.

You may want to check to see if your oiler is turn up to the max. setting.
I have found that it made a difference with my csm.

Thanks for sharing, that's a nice video. Are you going to leave the live edge on the boards or run them through a resaw later?

I will leave the edges on these boards. Thinking of using them for a bar counter top
